Established in 1948, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) has stood at the heart of UK-Japan business for almost eight decades.
What the chamber is for
For seventy-eight years, we continue to strengthen business ties between the United Kingdom and Japan, while advancing and supporting the interests of every BCCJ member.
Our mission is to strengthen business ties between the UK & Japan, promote and support the business interests of all our members, and actively encourage new British business into the Japanese market as well as Japanese investment into the UK.

Today, the BCCJ is a highly active, independent not-for-profit membership organisation, connecting a community of more than 3,700 members from over 230 companies across 40 sectors, supported by a range of dedicated communication channels.
